Ultrasound Therapy and Kinesiology Taping

As part of your osteopathic treatment plan it may be felt that you would benefit from ultrasound and/or kinesiology taping along side osteopathic treatment. Penny has found that both have proved useful at times to aid recovery.

Ultrasound has been used as a treatment modality by therapists over the last 50 years.  The metal treatment head of the ultrasound machine is gently moved over the surface of the skin in the region of the injury with the application of gel. The patient does not feel any thing during the treatment.

Please take a look at www.electrotherapy.org for further information on ultrasound therapy.
