After a further 10 years in London, during which time she qualified as a level 3 kayak coach and a mountain walking leader, Penny returned to her much loved roots of Gloucestershire where she still works and lives with her husband.

The General Osteopathic Council, the registering body for osteopaths, requires all registered osteopaths to complete at least 30 hours of continual professional development (CPD) every year. To fulfil this requirement Penny has taken various post-graduate courses to keep up to date and broaden her knowledge including courses on the health of babies and children, the mechanics of sports injuries, ultrasound therapy, and kinesiology taping and much more.

Penny works with a combination of traditional osteopathy, cranial osteopathic techniques and where appropriate may also use ultrasound therapy and kinesiology taping. Penny feels that this combination of either one or two or even all of these treatment techniques allows for a treatment program that is truly tailored to the indivdual patient and their presenting condition. So providing osteopathic care for a wide range of people from the new born and pregnant women, through to the elderly and the sedentary office worker through to the active manual workers and sports people of all levels.
