About The Team

Penny Kavallares is the owner of Lydney Osteopaths and qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy). She works with a combination of cranial osteopathic techniques, traditional osteopathy and where appropriate may also use ultrasound therapy and kinesiology taping. She is generally at Lydney Osteopaths on Tuesdays.

As well as enjoying treating a wide range of ages and a variety of conditions Penny has a special interest and plenty of experience in treating babies and children and has done a great deal of postgraduate training in this field including completing a 2 year Paediatric Osteopathy Diploma with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy.

Martin Van Zyl qualified from British School of osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy) and works with traditional osteopathic techniques and cranial techniques. He is generally at Lydney Osteopaths Thursdays and Fridays.

When not treating people Martin has an interest in working with horses and dogs.

Emma Bicknell qualified from the European School of Osteopathy and works with traditional osteopathic techniques and cranial techniques. She is generally at Lydney osteopaths on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Emma has a special interest in treating shoulder conditions, back pain, muscle strain and neck pain.

When not treating people Emma has an interest in working with dogs and horses.

All of our osteopaths are fully insured and registered with the General Osteopathic Council and as such are committed to completing 30 hours of continual professional development per year to keep up to date and broaden their knowledge.
